Vicky is a Therapeutic Wellbeing Practitioner, teacher and school governor with over a decade’s worth of experience in both primary and secondary education. She specialises in working with school leaders, teachers and support staff to make small changes in order to turn education systems into a kinder and more supportive place in which children can thrive emotionally and therefore academically. She has worked in both mainstream and alternative education systems, merging the disciplines of therapy and teaching, and is an advocate for children’s wellbeing. Over the past few years, she has been researching areas around trauma-informed approaches to education and is adept at working with senior leaders to make small changes to policy, curriculum and practice to facilitate long lasting change for the benefit of children and young people. Vicky also delivers INSET training, authors social and emotional literacy content as well as creating 1:1 and small group therapeutic interventions.
