Sue Brayne

Sue Brayne is the author of The D-Word: Talking About Dying. She co-authored with Dr Peter Fenwick  Nearing The End Of Life: A Guide For Relatives And Friends Of The Dying (sponsored by the Aim Foundation). This booklet has been translated into several languages, and over 60,000 copies have been distributed to hospitals, GP surgeries, care homes, hospices, hospitals and to relatives of the dying.
Sue has an MA in The Rhetoric and Rituals of Death, and runs CDP workshops for therapists and health care workers, specialising in end of life issues. She also leads retreats on ageing and mortality, and facilitates pop-up death cafes on her narrrowboat, Mystic Moon.
