Jo Priest is an educator, activist, aspiring writer and musician from Bristol who has a keen interest in all things happiness related. She has worked with Happy City, the Repairs Café, and in her own community at Junction 3, and can often be seen chatting to total strangers! Since moving to Bristol nearly eight years ago, she has discovered the power of community in fostering a sense of belonging, resilience, and in boosting positive feelings of wellbeing. She believes in experiences rather than stuff, and has a blog where she shares her thoughts on this and other topics. She is open about her own experiences with trauma and mental health, and firmly believes in the power of connection to heal.
