Dr. Larch Maxey is Community Projects Manager with the Network Of Wellbeing (NOW), a charity he co-founded in 2012. NOW is devoted to building personal, social and environmental wellbeing. Larch is committed to co-creating a world where all can flourish and has co-founded twenty organisations to this end, including Lammas, the Fleming Policy Centre and NOW. He has taught, researched and practiced sustainability since 1988, with over 50 academic and popular publications.
His two co-edited books include The Sustainable University (Routeledge) and Low Impact Development: The Future in Our Hands which sold out within eight months and is now available as a free download. Larch has built and lived in several low impact homes and is a Director of Bright Green Futures, Frack Free Totnes and Switch From Fossils which empower people to act on climate change, fracking and plastic pollution. Larch lives in Totnes and loves surfing and foraging.
