This talk will focus on the risk we are taking as a society by depriving ourselves of a regular nature connection.  Chris Salisbury will draw on 20 years experience brokering this connection and share some inspiring examples. We will raise the issue of ‘re-wilding’ as an urgent task for the land of Britain and more importantly perhaps, how we need to re-wild ourselves as part of this process. There will be poetry, stories and even a rap to get your juices flowing.

Chris Salisbury founded WildWise, an outdoor education and training company, in 1999 after many years working as an education officer for Devon Wildlife Trust. With a professional background in theatre, a qualification in drama therapy and a career in environmental education, Chris uses every creative means at his disposal to encourage people to enjoy and value the natural world on the courses he facilitates in the UK and abroad.
Chris is a course facilitator at Schumacher College in Devon, where he also directs the acclaimed ‘Call of the Wild’ foundation year-programme.
