Marianne Stewart, pastry chef, tutor and author of Nourish Cakes will demonstrate how to create ‘free-from’ treats that are both nourishing and delicious.
During this workshop Marianne will explain some of the baking science behind creating gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free recipes, helping to demystify the process. She will share her top tips for baking success and include a few simple ways to make your bakes healthier, including how the different ingredients in her recipes work together to help prevent sugar spikes. There will also be some great advice on go-to replacement ingredients for dairy, egg, gluten and refined sugars.
Marianne will be making her signature vegan banana buckwheat pancakes served with a choice of unrefined syrups and fresh berries and at the end of the demo, you’ll have a chance to taste some samples.
