Mindful Photography
Discover a mindful approach to the art of photography. Learn to look and really see. In this ‘walkshop’ you slow down and use photography and mindfulness whilst walking to look again at the world around you. You will learn to take notice in the present moment, and see the extraordinary in the ordinary. You will experience the opposite of ‘snapping away’. As well as helping you to improve your photography skills, the walkshop helps to reduce stress and improve your wellbeing.
We’ll start off in Ashton Court Mansion, exploring how to look and see differently, before going on a gentle walk around Ashton Court, taking photos in a calm and mindful way. The photography side of things is kept simple, low tech and fun. You can use any device you choose, from a mobile phone, tablet or a digital camera. The workshop is suitable for all abilities and levels of photography experience.
